Nutrition Sites Celebrate March for Meals 2007

The CNN Nutrition Sites joined meals on wheels programs all across the country in celebrating March for Meals and Mayors for Meals. This campaign is to call attention to the problem of senior hunger in America. Mayors in suburban Cook, Grundy and Kendall counties were asked to participate in serving senior on March 21, 2007 (or whenever they could). Mayors went on delivery routes with drivers, served congregate meals at the site or helped with the day's activity.

"So No Senior Goes Hungry" is the rallying cry and March For Meals campaign wants to raise awareness about senior hunger, recruit new volunteers to join the fight and raise money for use at local programs.
